About Me.  (Cheryl Mouncey)

A Little About Myself
I have had a great passion for creating things for as long as I can remember.  As a child, I grew very excited one holiday when I opened a gift that initially appeared to be a potter's wheel (I saw mugs on the outer box!).  When it turned out to be a small point and shoot camera, I was still gracious and was not displeased but my disappointment that it was not a potter's wheel never left.  It would be many years before I found  a situation to access and purchase my own wheel.  That was my latest acquisition.  Prior to that, I had a glass studio collectively with another artist.  When that all went away, and thanks to major life changes, I have been without a studio for several years.  That is all about to change.

I am now living happily along the shores of Lake Ontario with my fabulous teen daughter and my supportive and loving partner.  Collectively we have a dog and cat (and looking to add a rescue to the mix because we are apparently not right in the head).

What you see here is some of the work I have done over the years.  It's a constantly changing space as I hope to add some more up-to-date images as the studio comes back to life.  Please - visit again soon and thanks for being here!  Cheers!
